![]() Your head/helm was very pointy and long horizontally, and you had a Gun attatchment for a hand. I'm pretty certain it was for the PC.Ĭlad in black leather or something, very tightly. I remember the letter 'M' and 'K' in the name but not much else, maybe side by side like MK II or something like that. Other things i remember about it are it would switch from fps view to 3rd person, and this allowed you to do certain parts of a level using your parachute to glide through it, or something like that. I remember the monsters or aliens were pig like or something. It was fairly futuristic, and you had things like parachutes. If anyone could help me remember what it was that'd be amazing.Īll i remember about it was that you played as a woman (maybe) who was clad in black leather or something, very tightly. Of course i played all the classics like Doom i and ii but there was one particular FPS style game i struggle to remember the name of. Hey everyone, i've been plagued with a memory of a game from the 90's i enjoyed when iw as growing up. I never knew anyone else played it, I don't even remember how I found it. the scene you're thinking of is the Frankenstein/Igor lab, if you put the monster together wrong and zapped it with lightning it would writhe and twitch, but if you did it right he would come to life and dance to that song Monster Mash. ![]() You had to find 13 keys before 13 o'clock and there was an evil and a good gahan, a torture chamber, a kitchen where you had to mix body parts, a monster doorknob, a haunted record player, etc. The game you're thinking of is Gahan Wilson's "The Haunted House". but I was googling to discover the name of Gizmos and Gadgets (THANK YOU to whomever, btw) and saw this. One was like a monster house, or a house full of monsters, you had to find like body parts or something and build a monster and mix potions and stuff, it had a bunch of mini games liek hangman I think too. I cannot for the life of me remember the names of either. There were two games I played I want to say in the late 90s as a kid. If you are having problems before you even get to install Fine Artist, let me know and I'll see if I can help with that. Just look for some program options/preferences that let you run Fine Artist in some kind of compatibility mode. With Windows 7, you most likely won't be able to follow this exact protocol. In my experience, usually it is just an issue with the color scheme and/or resolution for old games. Again, this might take some trial and error. If the issue is something else, try checking the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then select the latest version of Windows you think the program will work in. If you get an error related to color scheme or resolution, I would check the boxes that say "Run in 256 colors" and/or "Run in 640X480 screen resolution." Whether I click both or just one of the boxes takes a little trial and error to see which gets the program running and looking as nice as possible.ī. It depends on the reason I can't run the program.Ī. ![]() Right click on the application and select "properties."Ĥ. Go to the folder containing the program.Ģ. First, where do you run into problems? Are you able to install the software at all? If you are able to install and just can't run it thereafter, this is what I do on Vista (I am not very familiar with Windows 7, but perhaps it has similar features):ġ. I have, however, been able to successfully install and play other old computer games on my Windows Vista laptop. I lost the disk before I could install it on XP or Vista :(. The latest Windows edition I used Fine Artist on was either Windows 98/ME or 2000 (old, I know!). RESPONSE TO sharlock (I hope you read this!) It wouldn't let me PM you back.
